Here's the deal... looking over the Italy/Austria FRQs I was not happy (with some exceptions). But looking over the late-19th century DBQs, I was pretty darned happy.
So, I decided to let everything average out by dropping the grades for the former and giving full credit to everyone for the latter. Think of it as a nice bonus for putting in a lot of hard work in what I generally consider hands-down the most difficult quarter in the AP curriculum.
